Project candidates
Power generation business license- 3MW or less: local governments
- Over 3MW : Electricity Committee of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy
Selection of seller distributor
- Participation after obtaining a power generation business license
- Solar power only (optional)
Complete construction of the generation facility - Construction of the generation facility shall be in line with the Electricity Business Act
Pre-use inspection- Electrical safety work
Signing of a power supply contract- Korea Power Exchange
* However, contracts can be signed with KEPCO for production of 1MW or less
Start operations of the power generation business- Report the start of business to a relevant local government
Check for RPS eligible facilities- New and Renewable Energy Reporting Center
- Within one month from the pre-use inspection date
Issuance of the power supply certificate and start exchange transactions- Issuer: New and Renewable Energy Center
- Exchange trades: Korea Power Exchange
